GATSBY EVENING IN THE HEART OF GENEVA – 2024
It’s springtime. And the desire to escape to the heart of Geneva: The GATSBY Show at Geneva’s Hotel Beau Rivage was the ultimate response to that desire for renewal, of trying something new and exciting at the same time. It was a definite success, thanks to the inspiring talent of fashion creator and stylist Anicelia Tavares. The evening featured a jazz-inspired atmosphere, which was very popular in the 1920’s, and many guests endeavoured to recreate the roaring 20s and the gilded flapper era with gorgeous period costuming. For over 20 years, Visions du Réel’s industry activities aimed to underline and exalt the variety and richness of creative documentaries while providing precious networking opportunities. Acting as the Festival’s professional hub, VdR–Industry is designed as a springboard for projects, facilitating both national and international collaborations and long-term partnerships between the projects’ representatives and the professionals attending the industry events.
