ODESSA FASHION WEEK FW 2020.21. SIMPLE AND TASTEFUL
ODESSA FASHION WEEK IS SET TO INTRODUCE THE BRAND NEW COLLECTIONS OF SIMPLE LINES, SHAPES, AND FABRICS, UNITED BY THE #SustainableFashion CONCEPT.
On 22 – 24 August, Odessa Fashion Week will take place, with all the safety and precautionary measures needed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, in a historical place, at the Londonskaya Hotel, which is located in the very heart of Odessa on Primorsky Boulevard.
The main leitmotif of the upcoming fashion shows will be trends of recent years – naturalness, lightness, environmental friendliness and minimalism. This fashion event has become a kind of fashion missionary in promoting the topic of conscious consumption, recycling and reuse of resources, materials and, ultimately, waste. All of this is an important part of sustainability and conscious fashion as it reduces the negative impact of the industry on the environment.
On 24 August, the Independence Grand Fashion Show is to start at 9 am. This is a grandiose procession of models in clothes of Ukrainian designers and national embroidered shirts on one of the main attractions of the city of Odessa – the Teshchin bridge (Mother-in-law’s bridge) is based on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
The Teshchin bridge is the name of the pedestrian bridge that runs over Voenny Descent and connects Zhvanetsky Boulevard with Primorsky Boulevard. It offers magnificent landscapes of the city, which keeps a long history, as well as a beautiful view of the Odessa port. Near the Teshchin bridge is the Vorontsov Palace, which is decorated with the famous Colonnade in the city.
The main goal of this show is to popularize the designers of Odessa fw, as well as the main attractions of the city of Odessa.
