Chiara Boni Spring/Summer 2022 | Milan Fashion Week

Chiara Boni celebrated her 50 years of career in fashion with a dinner, elegant and colorful, at the charming BagniMisteriosi in Milan. The outdoor venue, in existence since the 1930s, was chosen as the set for the presentation of the fashion film of the Spring Summer 2022 collection – La Petite Robe. The party was attended by friends, VIPs and celebrities who accompanied Chiara Boni on her style journey.

A career spanning 50 years: Chiara Boni began in 1971, the year she opened her first boutique in Florence and entered the fashion world with the brand “You Tarzan Me Jane”. The designer loves elegance and continues to seek comfort and meet the needs of a dynamic woman who likes to be on the road.

Chiara Boni is also known as the “lady of stretch jersey”: in the 1980s, she was the first in Italy to experiment with the use of Lycra in fabrics intended for clothing.

Each of her dresses is a small masterpiece of tailoring and pragmatism, with an elegance that is not afraid of time and not even of folds, concepts perfectly expressed and summarized in the SS22 collection. The fashion movie broadcast before the event and inspired by Helmut Newton’s photographs, portrays linear and precise images in which the dominant colors are the black and white of the clothes. The video depicts three women, including top model Anna Cleveland, moving in a surreal and mysterious atmosphere, suspended in time and wrapped in a cloud of eternal refinement.
