VQ. PROJECT

Fashion & Theater at Milan Fashion Week – 2026

THE SHOW

On 25 September 2026, Milan-based fashion brand VQ. Project, founded by designer Veronika Bobchenok, presented its S/S 2027 collection at Spazio Tertulliano.

The show was not a traditional runway, but a theatrical performance. Each garment was associated with a human emotion, expressed through an interactive performance that engaged the audience
.
Each emotion was conveyed through movement, light and music, which, in perfect synchrony, brought the show to life.

THE EMOTIONAL JOURNEY

The collection unfolded through three emotional chapters — moving from deeply negative sensations towards
increasingly positive ones.
● Emptiness ● Fear ● Despair ● Loneliness ● Anger ● Jealousy ● Obsession ● Desire ● Hope ● Courage ● Love ● Euphoria ● Freedom

The final look represented Freedom — a beam of light created through reflective fabric. As the veil fell, the model was revealed, symbolising the freedom of someone who has experienced, faced and overcome every emotion.

THE COLLECTION

The emotional structure of the show reflected the personal story at the heart of VQ. Project. Born in a small village in the Far North, where temperatures can reach –40°C, designer Veronika Bobchenok grew up in an environment where clothing was primarily associated with protection and necessity rather than personal expression.

The S/S 2027 collection transforms this experience into a message of freedom, individuality and courage. Dark tones, structured silhouettes and contrasting textures create a visual progression that follows the emotional journey of the performance.

A distinctive fabric treatment evokes the colours and movement of the Northern Lights, referencing the landscape of the designer’s birthplace. Strong-shouldered outerwear, structured corsets and sheer black fabrics balance protection with vulnerability, while punk-inspired accessories introduce elements of rebellion and individuality.

CREATIVE DIRECTION & PRODUCTION TEAM

The theatrical character of the presentation was developed through a creative team and a collaboration between professionals from different disciplines.

Maria Aminta Daniele of PWC Milano directed the theatrical performance and oversaw the musical direction together with Manuela Bagnato, defining the emotional atmosphere and rhythm of the show.

Dani Marie Bordignon, in collaboration with Maria Aminta Daniele and assistant Alessandro Elisei, oversaw the casting, while Dani Marie Bordignon defined the styling, supporting the brand in developing the visual interpretation of the collection.
Viktoriia Stanieva oversaw the production and coordination of the show, supervising the organisational and backstage aspects, coordinating the creative team and integrating the different elements of the performance and event.

Veronika Bobchenok, founder and designer of VQ. Project, led the design and creative direction of the collection, translating her personal experience into the emotional narrative of the show.

The evening opened with a tasting experience curated by Burroeolio, a catering project founded by Anna Kytövuori and Carolina Toto of Italo Finnish Culinary Experiences & Event Curation. Guests were welcomed with a signature drink created for the show and a selection of finger food.

AN EXPERIENCE BEYOND THE RUNWAY

The evening concluded with a celebration of the creative process behind the project, transforming the theatre into a space dedicated to fashion, performance, emotional reflection and new connections.
If you want, I can also make this more editorial / Vogue-style English, while keeping it suitable for sending to international fashion press.
