MILAN FASHION WEEK SEPTEMBER 2018: THE SPRING / SUMMER EYEWEAR 2019

Milan is one of the world’s fashion capitals. The epicenter of style and sophistication, Milan Fashion Week represents the best of Italy’s fashion scene, with the biggest luxury houses of the world hosting catwalk shows to showcase their FW18 collections.

The designs that walk down the runway during Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018 will dictate the world’s upcoming trends.

Expect to see the crème de la crème of international fashion designers, fashion editors, celebrities, fashion influencers and the biggest names in Italian fashion in Milan, to display their designs and ideas.

Organized by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, Milano Moda Donna is the most awaited fashion shows of the year, attracting a huge celebrity audience.

Tuesday 18

Inauguration of the exhibition “Tutti in Fila, a retrospective that looks to the future”, vialeAlemagna 6 (Palazzo dell’Arte). Open to the public from 19 to 23 September.

Inauguration of the exhibition “The Elle Wardrobe”, via Fiori Chiari.

Wednesday 19

Inauguration of “Fashion Hub Market and Young Designer DHL Award”, via Olona 6bis (SpazioCavallerizze). Open to the public until September 24th.

Inauguration Marie Claire exhibition “Couples in Love”, via Della Spiga. Open to the public from September 19th to 24th.

Thursday 20

Inauguration “Vogue Talents and Who is Next? 2018 “, via Brera 15. Open to the public from 20 to 22 September.

Inauguration “AzzedineAlaïa Couture-Sculpture”, via Clerici 5. Open to the public from 21st to 25th September.

Friday 21st

Fashion Film Festival Milan, Italian premiere of “Rover Blu”. Antaeus Palazzo del Cinema, via Milazzo 9. Open to the public from 21st to 24th September.

AdR Book Signing from COIN, p.zza Cinque Giornate. Open to public.

Reading-show “Lettere a Yves” (from the book by Pierre Bergé) – follows light cocktail, via Ciro Menotti 11. Open to the public with admission ticket.

Inauguration of the exhibition “Divine, Bags and Faces in Italian Cinema”, Zanellato boutique in via Bagutta. Open to the public on 22 September.

Saturday 22

Sunday 23rd

Inauguration of the Etro Generation Paisle exhibition, in Via Tortona 56. Open to the public from October 14th.

“Mostra – Demonstrate” Milan XL, 6 cubic installations widespread in the city. The sixth installation, in Piazza della Scala, will be the “Informative Manifesto” of the event.

The Milan Fashion Week of September 2018 gave us a broad overview of what will be the trends for spring summer 2019 eyewear.
