The Borsalino boutique in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan has been recognized as a “highly historic and traditional store” by the Italian regional government of Lombardy.
Following an application supported by UnioneConfcommercio Milano, RegioneLombardia, the Italian regional government of Lombardy, has awarded the Borsalino boutique in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II the label “highly historic and traditional store,” which is the greatest recognition in the region for historic shops. The Borsalino boutique in the Galleria was opened 136 years ago and is one of the oldest in the prestigious Milanese gallery known as “Milan’s drawing room”, a true piece of the city’s history.
Borsalino hats have been gracing boutique windows in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II since 1883. With its legendary history; there has been and continues to be a long patron list of prestigious clients and celebrities from the worlds of art, design and fashion. In 2007, the Galleria hosted a large celebrative event in honor of the brand’s 150th anniversary with hundreds of special guests.
